Texture rubber mats are specifically designed to work with polymer clays and all other types of soft materials. They are best for jewelry making. They add texture to the clay surface for a beautiful clay design.
*Earring makers can use these for an amazing design on polymer clay, porcelain clay, or air-dry clay. You would use your fingers or an acrylic roller on the clay.
*Cake decorators can use this mat for a beautiful fondant design.

Dimensions: approximately 10 X 7 CM
Pattern Depth: 1 mm

HOW TO USE THE TEXTURE MAT:
-Always wash the mat before using it on any clay. This will remove any production debris. You can also use a soft toothbrush to remove anything in the small creases.
-Test the mat on a sample piece of clay to ensure the mat is ready to use.
-Always start with conditioned clay before using these mats.
-Roll your clay slightly thicker than the final thickness you want as when you press the texture mat into the clay, it could lose a bit of thickness.
-I recommend applying some cornstarch to the mat to prevent the clay from sticking to the mat.
-Gently place the mat on the top of your clay and apply consistent pressure using a roller. Once the image is set into the clay, then peel it away.

CLEANING & CARE FOR YOUR MAT:
-After using the texture mat, wash it with warm water. You can also use a soft toothbrush to clean the grooves.
-These mats are NOT for use with food.
-Do not use sharp tools to clean the texture mat.
-Do not heat the mats.
-Do not fold the mats for storage.
-Store mats in a flat position
